Captain Don "Soup" Campbell, a local native, has a 100-ton U.S. Coast Guard Master license and over 25 years of commercial and sport fishing experience in the waters of Cape Cod Bay, Massachusetts Bay, and the Gulf of Maine. Captain Don is patient, safety-conscious, flexible, and has a deep-seated knowledge of the local fishing grounds as well as a wide network of industry friends. He always knows where the fish are 'biting.' Once on the water, Captain Don will travel to any of the local 'hot spots' in pursuit of the best fishing available on any given day of the season.

The Labrador is a 32' BHM rock-solid, commercial fishing vessel built for in-shore and offshore fishing and lobstering. She cruises at 17 knots and features a new 325hp Volvo Penta diesel engine. The Labrador is extremely sea-worthy and can stay out fishing when its sportier counterparts are headed back home. Captain Don also utilizes a full complement of sophisticated electronics (including Furuno, SIMRAD, and Northstar) onboard the Labrador for safety, navigation, and fish-finding purposes. Amenities include an enclosed, heated cabin and head. Captain Don also provides an experienced mate on board for all trips to assist guests with everything from reeling in fish to filleting the catch of the day. All tackle and other fishing equipment are provided onboard the Labrador - Captain Don provides guests with the use of some of the finest Penn International and Aftco fishing gear available which he fastidiously maintains for performance and safety. Guests are encouraged to bring their own refreshments and to dress accordingly - warm clothing and rubber boots/shoes are advised.

Captain Don Campbell and the Labrador have a reputation in the area for being one of the most successful commercial and sport fishing boats around. In 2009, Captain Don and his clients reeled in over 50 blue fin tuna during the charter season. At the same time he brought his guests home with countless pounds of striped bass, bluefish, codfish, haddock, and other types of local fish from June through October. Captain Don's passion for the pursuit of the next biggest and best - tuna, shark, striper, or any fish will surely ignite the 'inner-angler' in all of his guests and leave them with a fishing experience on the high-seas that they will not soon forget.
